Bridging Humanity and Nature

With a career spanning over 30 years and in over 30 different countries throughout the world, Claudio Silvestrin set out from the very beginning to be the Architect of Vision, with a goal of simplicity as the ultimate sophistication.Claudio Silvestrin’s projects invite people to believe that what is within is precious and unique, highly valuable and therefore, highly valued. In this respect, one could say that he indeed possesses a golden touch. His interest in philosophy, the integrity of his vision, clarity of mind, inventiveness and meticulous attention to detail are reflected in his distinctive architecture: austere but not extreme, contemporary yet timeless, calming not ascetic, strong yet not intimidating, elegant but not ostentatious, simple yet not soulless.

‘I have been educated to believe that being an architect is a vocation, just as it is a vocation to be a priest. I have been educated to believe that architecture is the most complete form of art, bridging man and nature, earth and sky, god and mortals. I have believed, and still do, that architecture is composing poetry on earth in partnership with the earth, that architecture has the role of transmitting the emotion of matter, space, light and water’.
